This is a sweet wine with flavors of white sugar, orange, honey and vanilla, all brightened by crisp acidity. This is weighty, creamy and medium to full in body. It needs a few hours in the decanter to round off the edges, and it should hold in the bottle for several years. The finish remains fresh and lifted. Bone dry, tannic and complex, it has flavors of blackberry, black currant, licorice, grilled meat and black pepper that drink well now. The wine also has great acidity and ripe flavors of green apple, pear and kiwi.
